The very old web and FTP server of C64 maniacs is back online.

The server was originally started by me and some friends in 1996 on a 386 PC. Hosted at Technical University of Budapest. A long time has passed since, hosting locations changed, servers changed, team changed several times.

There are a lot of changes since my article about my IDE64 in 2004. In the past years I've added a lot more little details to this box, so it's just about the time to write an updated article.

ai64: Batch archive extractor for IDE64 users

Beküldte: Ferenc Veres, időpont: 2005. Január 28. 09:23:41 du +00:00.

ai64 allows you to comvert complete directory structures containing c64 programs into IDE64 compatible copy of the whole structure. For example try running it on a complete copy of Arnold Game Archive, before burning a CD for IDE64 usage. Most of the archive will be converted to prg and d64 files.

HD and CD for C64 - The IDE64 device

Beküldte: Ferenc Veres, időpont: 2004. Október 31. 08:47:37 du +00:00.

The IDE64 device is a great invention, replacing the old, slow and expensive hard disk extensions for the Commodore 64. IDE64 is a card for the expansion port with a great re-programmable firmware, and you can connect any IDE HD, CD or even Zip drive as you wish or have.
