The very old web and FTP server of C64 maniacs is back online.
The server was originally started by me and some friends in 1996 on a 386 PC. Hosted at Technical University of Budapest. A long time has passed since, hosting locations changed, servers changed, team changed several times.
ai64 allows you to comvert complete directory structures containing c64 programs into IDE64 compatible copy of the whole structure. For example try running it on a complete copy of Arnold Game Archive, before burning a CD for IDE64 usage. Most of the archive will be converted to prg and d64 files.
The IDE64 device is a great invention, replacing the old, slow and expensive hard disk extensions for the Commodore 64. IDE64 is a card for the expansion port with a great re-programmable firmware, and you can connect any IDE HD, CD or even Zip drive as you wish or have.
